The tragedy of the attacks of 9 / 11 terrorists on our nation are etched in our hearts and our minds forever. Sharif A. Chowdhury, a fellow member of the community to the mosque I attend (All Dulles Area Muslim Society-ADAMS) lost her daughter, Mrs. Shakila Yasmin, and son-in-law, Nurul Haque Miah, who both worked at the World Trade Center. Mohammad Salman Hamdani, NYFD and NYPD Cadet EMT, was one of the first responders who rushed to the scene to help and has lost his life in the World Trade Center. 2977 people from 90 nations and many faith traditions and backgrounds were killed that tragic day.

The next night, after 9 / 11, I was invited to speak at an interfaith gathering in a church with which ADAMS Center already had a long friendship. We got together as Americans United for many faith traditions and backgrounds to remember the victims and their families and pray for the healing of our country. And after the hate crimes that were committed against ADAMS Center and its community members, local Christian and Jewish communities have offered help to us.In the many years since 9 / 11, my family and the community continue to work every day with our partners in interfaith respect, harmony, and peace profound Islamic values ​​that we share with our friends religions.

Adams has always encouraged open dialogue and cooperation of the Muslim community with the police to protect our nation while protecting individual rights granted by the Civil Constitution.ADAMS has hosted several meetings for discussion with the FBI office in Washington Field (OMF) to our mosque, serves on the WFO is Muslim Sikh American Advisory Committee, and has had numerous consultations with the Director WFO and field workers in during which we shared our mutual concerns and ways to strengthen our cooperation.

Auditions continued in Seattle on the June 7, 2011 episode. Compared to the previous week's Los Angeles and Atlanta auditions, they got off to a rocky start, but turned around midway through with a series of impressive singers and dancers.

Host Nick Cannon kicked off the show from atop the Space Needle, and Howie Mandel drove himself to the auditions rather than riding in a limo. He had to ask for directions to the Paramount Theater and ultimately had to be towed to his destination.

The first contestant, Melissa Villasenor, specialized in celebrity impressions. She started out with Barbara Walters interviewing Natalie Portman, then went on to spot-on impersonations of Miley Cyrus, Kathy Griffin, and Christina Aguilera.

The audience gave her a standing ovation, and Piers Morgan said it was “a sensational audition”. Sharon Osbourne told her she wouldn’t be working in retail for much longer, and all three judges voted yes.

Singing twins Andrew and Charles Goodrey (billed as A+C Twins), talked about their local Seattle fanbase and their ambition to become global stars prior to their audition. Their performance of "My Girl" killed any such hopes, as it was full of sharp, off-key vocals and out-of-tune harmonies.

The judges all voted no, and Osbourne told them they couldn't sing. After some verbal sparring with Mandel, they said they could sing "way better" than him, and he accepted their challenge. Mandel's vocals were nearly inaudible, so it was hard to tell if he was worse than them.

The next contestants were also a singing duo. Litz Plumber and Robert Close didn't get any better of a reception with their operatic performance, and were quickly buzzed off the stage. They were followed by The Rice Rockettes, a drag dance troupe, and their act also failed to impress the panel.

Mr. Mystic PTP's blend of magic, rapping, and dance was booed by the audience, and Morgan said it was "one of the most stupid things I've seen in my life". The judges were unanimous in voting no.
