Toys For Tots -- 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jack's Place, 1001 Caseyville Road, Caseyville. Blind draw dart tournament sponsored by The Marine Corps Reserve to help raise money to purchase toys for needy children at Christmas. $10 per entry (Jack's Place will add $250); minimum 32 players. Sign up at 7 p.m. Pot shots, raffles, 50-50s, food and drink specials.

Centralia Carillon Concert -- 2 and 2:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Centralia Carillon Tower, 114 N. Elm St., downtown, Centralia. Featuring Jeff Daehn of Rochester, Minn., and Dr. Linda Dzuris of Clemson, S.C. Free. Bring lawn chair, blankets and/or picnic. Free tours both days after the last concert at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Great Godfrey Maze -- 6 p.m. Friday, Glazebrook Park, 1401 Stamper Lane, Godfrey. Two mazes with the theme "Cruisin' Route 66" in the shapes of a classic car and a Route 66 road sign open Ribbon cutting ceremony, rises on the car train, zip line rides, playing in the corn crib, the first walk through the maze and a free outdoor screening of Disney's "Cars" at dusk. Maze open 6-10 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturdays; 1 p.m. to dusk Sundays through Oct. 30. General admission $6 for 12 and older; $4 for 6 through 11; free for children 5 and younger.

grafton street dinner theatre...and food phobias
It makes me sad when people are allergic to food. Allergies like seafood, nuts and berries - no bacon wrapped scallops, peanut M&M's and chocolate dipped strawberries? WHAT. Anyhow, it turns out that the allergies I had as a child remain: dust, dust, cats (sniff) and more dust. I have also determined this Christmas season that I might just be allergic to my Christmas tree as well.
