“What’s Going On” includes upcoming events in and around Racine County such as breakfasts, dinners, car washes, rummage sales, parties and dances intended to be money-raisers by or in behalf of nonprofit community organizations, either held or requiring reservations within the next two weeks. Announcements must arrive at The Journal Times by noon Wednesday before the desired Saturday publication date. Announcements may only be used one time. Sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Racine Aerie 281, 8-11 a.m. Sunday, Eagles Club, 319 Hamilton St. The menu includes omelets, eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, pancakes, French toast and a full selection of beverages, including coffee and Bloody Marys. Items are sold individually. Open to the public.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Sponsored by the Sonfire Youth Group of First Presbyterian Church, 10:30 a.m. Sunday, First Presbyterian Church, 716 College Ave. The menu includes pancakes with toppings, sausages, coffee and orange juice. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds will go toward expenses for the group’s July mission trip to Mississippi.
Wednesday
FISH FRY
St. Louis Parish, 13207 Highway G, Caledonia, 4-7 p.m. Wednesday. The menu includes fried or baked cod, potatoes, coleslaw, soup, bread, dessert and coffee, juice or milk. Tickets cost $9.50 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-11. Children ages 3 and younger eat free. Carryouts cost 50 cents more. A grilled cheese sandwich with french fries and dessert will be available for children for $5.
Friday
FISH FRIES
* 4–7 p.m. Friday, St. Robert Parish hall, 3320 S. Colony Ave. (Highway 45), Union Grove. The menu includes baked or beer-battered cod prepared by the Rev. Robert Kacalo, potato pancakes, french fries, sweet potato fries, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, applesauce and homemade desserts. Beer and wine will be sold. Tickets cost $11 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-12. Children younger than age 4 eat free. Proceeds benefit St. Mary-Dover and St. Robert Bellarmine Legacy Funds.
