Decatur General Foundation welcomes new members

Decatur General Foundation Guild recently honored its new members at an event at the home of president Trudy Grisham . Members plan and stage the foundation’s Gala, an annual dinner and ball to raise funds for Decatur General Hospital. This year, Gala XXVII will be Dec. 9. Dana Briley is a licensed nursing home administrator at River City Care and Rehabilitation in Decatur. She has one son, Corbin .

Bailey Copeland owns Cloud 9 on Bank Street. She is married to Sage . She is a graduate of Auburn University, a member of the Junior League of Morgan County and First United Methodist Church.

Carolyn Davis works at Willo Products and has a bachelor’s degree from Birmingham-Southern College in business and psychology. She also holds a master’s in counseling from the University of West Florida. She is married to Andy and has two stepsons, Matthew and Jonathan .

Ruth Ann Fite has two children, Mattie and Nancy , with husband J. Robert . She received a bachelor’s degree in history from Auburn University and a Master of Education Leadership degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a member of Junior League and Cotillion and likes to spend her free time playing tennis, cooking, reading and being with her family.

Anne Fletcher recently relocated to Decatur from Tuscaloosa with husband Dr. Steven M. Fletcher . She has been a clinical consultant with CareFusion for the past 13 years. She earned a bacehlor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama. She is a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Tuscaloosa, American Organization of Nurse Executives, Emergency Nurses Association and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. Her interests include traveling, gardening, cooking and SEC football and basketball.
