Golfinopoulos, a self-taught audio engineer with a love of sampling and multimedia and Lynn, a multi-instrumentalist with an interest in electronics, met five years ago.
The result was a party band who describe their sound as a maximalist,''dance pop up in the nightmare of the obscene to the''serein.

Lynn said Pakehard!is not a protest album, but a way to find meaning in the exaggeration of the Rugby World Cup.
''We're talking about people who have no real voice in this thing, [wondering] 'where do I fit in? "
