Tigard police officer, accused of DUII while off-duty in June, back on patrol

This jerk is back driving a poilce car????? An ordinary citizen would have a license suspension at the very least, even with Diversion (which costs hundreds of dollars out of pocket). This is said from having friends (read: acquantances or people I know, not neccesarly am close friends with), who had to go through Diversion. If he refused a breathalyzer: automatic suspension. More details please. I am no anti-cop by any means. I support LEO's fully, but I think I will stay out of PDX and surrounding areas!

Let's see.

Twice during Halloween events, Tigard "Police Officers" mis-directed traffic causing a near collision between my wife and son and I and a car while we were directed to cross at a crosswalk (and then they directed a car to go, cutting us off while in the middle of the street.

A Tigard "Police Officer" responding to a vehicle collision in which I was the victim refused to perform a field sobriety test on the other driver against my demand (even though I witnessed the other driver moving open containers of alcohol from the passenger compartment to the trunk), accused me of "telling him how to do his job" and trying to explain that my truck was not very damaged. After a supervising officer showed up the officer was directed to cite the other driver. That was very fortunate, since my truck was TOTALLED. So much for "minor damage". (The other driver was found guilty and had to pay to replace my truck, plus my wife's medical bills, plus lost time/wages, attorney fees, a rental car, an ER trip for my infant son, a new child seat, and several thousand dollars in punitive damages...all of which would have been lost had the responding officer did what he wanted to do - NOT do his job.

Lately in my neighborhood near C.F. Tigard Elementary School, another Tigard "Police Officer" feels the need to ride his motorcycle ON THE SIDEWALK despite children playing in/around/near the sidewalk, and children leaving the school (where there is a summertime daycare program which my son also attends). Unfortunately I haven't been able to stop him but the next time I will be threatening him with a citizen citation for illegal use of a motor vehicle on a sidewalk.
